BATTLE FOR THE GRID Gets a PC Release Date

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is finally making its way to PC after many months of waiting. While fans have been waiting (probably pretty impatiently) for the release, It will probably end up being for the best. After all, when the game was first released, there was a lot of content missing which made it feel very incomplete and many quickly lost interest it seems. However, over the past few months, nWay and Hasbro have been adding more and more content that probably should’ve been there since launch such as the complete Story Mode, online play with friends, 3 additional characters, and voice acting. Now, the game feels more cohesive and like a fully-fledged game. Yes, it still would be nice to have more than 12 characters without paying for DLC, but 12 is a lot better than the original 9 we got.

If you’ve been waiting for the PC release, it will be available on Steam starting September 24. The base game will run $19.99 with pre-orders also getting the Green Ranger V2 skin and the Season One Pass is also available for $14.99 which will give players three new characters. One final bonus of the PC version is that it allows cross-play and cross-progression with the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. What are you playing Battle for the Grid on?

Bob Odenkirk Confirms The BREAKING BAD Movie is Already Finished Shooting

We’ve got a new update to share with you regarding Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad movie thanks to Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk. He confirmed in an interview with THR that the movie has already completed shooting! This is the first time we’ve heard this news, but he’s acting like it should be common knowledge. Here’s what he said:

“I don’t know what people know and don’t know. I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot. They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.”

Yeah they have! While not much is known about the story the film will tell, we do know the story will continue the journey of Aaron Paul’s character, Jesse. The story is aimed to follow his “escape from Albuquerque following the bloody events of the series finale.”

The film is also said to feature the return of Bryan Cranston as Walter White in some capacity along with several other members of the original cast. You can read more about that here, but there’s no solid confirmation on what to expect from the movie.

I’m just curious to see how exactly the continuation of Jesse’s story will play out. I loved the end of the Breaking Bad series. I thought it was great, but I guess Gilligan feels there’s more story to tell.

What do you hope to see from the movie? How do you think the story will play out?

The movie will premiere on Netflix before it ends up hitting AMC.

Fatale: Lionsgate acquires rights to noir psychological thriller

Lionsgate has acquired North American and key international rights to Fatale, the mind-bending, taut psychologically provocative thriller directed by Deon Taylor (The Intruder) and starring two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank, Michael Ealy, Mike Colter, and Tyrin Turner.

RELATED: Jexi Trailer: Artificial Intelligence Gets a Little Too Real for Adam Devine

Fatale centers on a married man (Ealy) who finds himself living a nightmare as he is relentlessly compromised, out-witted and morally manipulated by a mysterious woman (Swank) with whom he had a wild one nightstand. How far will he go to save his marriage from his mistake?

“We previously acquired Deon’s thriller Traffik, and when Damon Wolf came to Lionsgate on the heels of working with Deon, he mentioned we should keep our eye on Fatale. He could not have been more right. We are all big fans of Deon and are thrilled to have him back at Lionsgate. This film has the heat and erotic appeal of relationship-gone-wrong thrillers like Unfaithful, Fatal Attraction or Basic Instinct. Deon Taylor has delivered a morally complex and outstanding character-driven thriller with riveting performances by Hillary Swank and Michael Ealy,” said Jason Constantine, Lionsgate’s President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions.

“Damon and I had the chance to work together on The Intruder, and like a character from this new movie, he became almost obsessed with this project,” Taylor said. I can feel that energy and passion with the Lionsgate team and I’m excited to be working with Joe, and to be reunited with Damon, Jason and Eda and the whole entire Lionsgate film group.”

Written and produced by David Loughery (The Intruder, Lakeview Terrace, Obsessed), the film is produced by Taylor’s Hidden Empire Film Group partner Roxanne Taylor and is executive produced by partner Robert F. Smith. Two-time Oscar nominee Dante Spinotti (L.A. Confidential, Heat) served as director of photography, marking his third collaboration with Taylor on Fatale.
