AVENGERS: ENDGAME Director Joe Russo Reveals Which DC Movie He’d Be Up for Directing

This week, Joe Russo, co-director of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, sat down with ComicBook and discussed all things Avengers, creating the end of the saga, each of the main players’ story arc, and some fun personal anecdotes. Throughout the interview, Russo was asked some fan questions, one of which was which DC movie Russo would be the most likely to take on. Russo didn’t even have to think about his answer, as he had a clear favorite as a child. Here’s his response:

“As far as what I collected as a kid, I collected Batman. [That] was one of the DC characters I collected. So it would have to be Batman.”

The next Batman movie is being directed by Matt Reeves and is due to come out two years from now. But maybe someday Russo will get his wish and get a seat in the director’s chair for a Batman film. I think fans would definitely be down for that.
