In an interview with EW, Doctor Who‘s 13th doctor Jodie Whittaker has officially confirmed that she is indeed set to return as the titular timelord in BBC America’s forthcoming thirteenth season. The series is currently airing its twelfth season with episode 12.05 titled “Fugitive of the Judoon” scheduled to air this Sunday on January 26.

“Yes, I’m doing another season,” Whittaker said. “That might be a massive exclusive that I’m not supposed to say, but it’s unhelpful for me to say [I don’t know] because it would be a massive lie!…I absolutely adore it. At some point, these shoes are going to be handed on, but it’s not yet. I’m clinging on tight!”

The epic journey of the Winchester brothers comes to a close as Supernatural enters its final season. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) and the angel Castiel (Misha Collins) have conquered monsters, demons, Heaven and Hell, and in the show’s 14th season, the Winchesters grappled with the Archangel Michael possessing Dean. In a valiant act, Sam and Dean’s surrogate son Jack (Alexander Calvert) destroyed his soul to redeem his adoptive father. But this proved to be a fatal error, leading to the accidental death of Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith). The 14th season also featured the return of John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) for the show’s historic 300th episode.

Now, heading into their 15th season, Sam and Dean find themselves facing a threat beyond anything they’ve ever grappled with… anything they’ve ever imagined: God himself.

Matt Damon Will Star in James Mangold’s NYPD Thriller THE FORCE

Matt Damon is teaming up with Ford v. Ferrari director James Mangold for a new film project titled The Force, which is being produced by Disney’s 20th Century Studios.

The Force centers on corrupt NYPD officers with Damon attached to play detective Denny Malone, “who runs an elite crime fighting squad but becomes ensnared in a corruption scandal.” This is said to be similar to the role he played in Martin Scorsese’s The Departed.

Fox picked up the right to this project back in 2016, and Ridley Scott is attached to produce. David Mamet (Ronin, Hannibal) wrote the first script, and Scott Frank (Logan, The Wolverine) has been working on the most recent version of that script.

Mangold has been on a roll with making great movies. Ford v Ferrari was one of my favorites of 2019, and it’s great to see Damon and Mangold teaming up again for a new project.
