DC’s SUICIDE SQUAD Is Getting a Fantasy Anime Series!

Warner Bros. Pictures recently announced at Anime Expo that DC’s Suicide Squad is getting an anime series adaptation! The project is being developed by Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studios, and it’s said that the series will take members of the Suicide Squad team into a fantasy world, so that’s going to be interesting!

We don’t really have a lot of other details to share, but there is some concept art that has surfaced that you can check out below. It gives you a look at the style we can expect from the anime. The art features characters such as The Joker and Harley Quinn.

It was also revealed that Eri Osada of Jujutsu Kaisen is directing the project. There’s no information on when we can expect this series to debut, but it is currently in production.

WIT Studios is just the creative team that brought us Attack on Titan and Spy x Family, so it seems like Suicide Squad will be in good hands.
