Glen Powell’s career has been blowing up since he starred in Top Gun: Maverick and it looks like he’s lining up another big project.
The actor is in talks to star in a new film from director J.J. Abrams. The two recently teamed up to produce the upcoming documentary The Blue Angels.
There are no details to share regarding the film that Abrams is developing, but the deals for the project have yet to close.
Don’t worry, though, you’ll be able to get your Glen Powell fix in the upcoming film Twisters. He’s also set to star in Edgar Wright’s film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Running Man for Paramount. Also in the works is the Hulu comedy series Chad Powers, by Loki creator Michael Waldron.
Powell will star opposite Anthony Mackie and Laura Dern in John Lee Hancock’s Monsanto.
