It was pretty awesome to learn that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine was going to team up with Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool in Deadpool 3. With Wolverine being officially introduced to the MCU, who knows what else Marvel is planning?! If they can actually make that happen, anything can happen! One thing is for sure, Deadpool 3 is going to make so much money.
Variety recently caught up with Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff, at Variety’s Power of Women awards. While on the red carpet, she was told about the big Wolverine news to which she responded, “Oh really? Wow.”
She was then asked if she’d like to see Scarlet Witch team up with some X-Men characters, and she said: “I guess Wolverine is X-Men. It would be cool to work with a lot of those people from the X-Men franchise. I guess [Magneto star Michael] Fassbender is my dad in some world?”
We don’t really know what the future holds for Scarlet Witch in the MCU, but Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently said, “There really is so much more to explore. We still haven’t touched on many of her core storylines from the comics.” Many of those storylines involve the X-Men, which they can now play with if they wanted to.
