Teaser Trailer For Roy Scheider’s Final Film BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES; Finally Getting Released Over a Decade Later

A trailer and poster have been released for the revenge thriller Beautiful Blue Eyes, from writer and director Joshua Newton. The movie was made all the way back in 2007, and was the final performance for the actor Roy Scheider, known best as Brody in the classic movie Jaws. It went on to get a New York/Los Angeles release, but didn’t get much publicity or a wide-release at the time, so they’re bringing it back now.

Scheider is joined in the cast by Scott Cohen, Sarah Bolger, Helmut Berger, and Alexander Newton. Here’s the description:

Beautiful Blue Eyes tell the story of a retired cop (Roy Scheider) who is a Holocaust survivor and has spent decades haunted by the murder of his family in a Polish forest during WWII. When he believes he has found the killer, he enlists his estranged son to help him exact revenge.

This teaser doesn’t give us much in the way of details, but the premise sounds good. It looks a little low budget, but hopefully that’s just the cut of the very brief trailer. Check it out below, and watch Beautiful Blue Eyes when it’s released in theaters in the US on September 9th.
