Legendary Entertainment Is Looking to Ditch Warner Bros. for Another Studio Home

Legendary Entertainment is looking to move out and away from Warner Bros. now that CEO David Zaslav is in charge of things. They obviously aren’t comfortable with the way he’s running things over there, and they are looking to find a new studio home now that their deal is expired.

According to Deadline, Sony Pictures is the frontrunner, but Paramount Pictures is also in the mix as a possibility. Both studios could benefit greatly from a partnership like this with the kinds of films that Legendary produces, and Sony definitely has the means to offer them more than Paramount.

Some of the movies that Legendary is currently developing under WB include Dune: Part Two, Godzilla Vs. Kong 2, and Christmas Story Christmas.

It makes sense for Legendary to want to move on and build a relationship with another studio.
