Last week I had the opportunity to cover Star Wars Celebration 2022 in Anaheim, CA, and while it was a lot of work, it was also a complete blast! I saw a ton of awesome stuff at the event, and the presentations conducted by Lucasfilm were so much fun!
There’s nothing like being in a room filled with over a thousand Star Wars fans. The energy is infectious and it’s just such an amazing experience for any hardcore Star Wars fan. There was also a lot of cool footage screened. We got to watch the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi with a room full of fans and it was also attended by the cast and crew.
We got to see some amazing footage from The Mandalorian Season 3, Ahsoka, and Tales of the Jedi. There was also a trailer for Willow, which was great! We also got to learn a ton of information about the early days of Industrial Light & Magic during the Light & Magic panel, which was fascinating!
On top of all that, I got to attend Star Wars Nite at Disneyland, which was so cool! That’s something I had never experienced before, and I enjoyed every second of it.
