A new comic from Image comics is coming out this August. The Deadliest Bouquet is a new espionage comic written by Erica Shultz with artist Carola Borelli and colorist Gab Contreras. The 5 issue series will feature estranged sisters Rose, Poppy, and Violet as they try to solve the case of their mother’s murder and avoid killing each other in the process. Using the espionage skills taught to them by their Nazi hunter mother, will the sisters solve the case?
This new comic should be perfect for fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and is being described as Charmed meets Charlie’s Angels with plenty of 90s nostalgia. There are three variant covers for issue one by artists Adriana Melo, Natasha Alterici, and Liana Kangas and they each look great. I think it sounds like an interesting mini series to read and if you agree, you can find it in your local comic book shop on August 10.
