This post obviously contains spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but Marvel lifted the spoiler ban on Monday, so everyone is talking about everything. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, you probably should just stay off the internet until you do.
Today’s big news came straight from Charlize Theron. She shared photos of herself on social media for all the world to see that she is playing the Marvel character Clea. The character was introduced in the post-credits scene for the film.

She shows up and tells Doctor Strange that he “caused an incursion” and, “You’re going to help me fix it.” She then cuts a hole in reality and reveals the Dark Dimension on the other side that they proceed to enter.
Clea is a half-Faltine and half-Dark Dimension being. In the comics, Clea fought alongside Dr. Strange in his battles against Dormammu in the Dark Dimension and the two eventually form a relationship and get married. So, we can kinda see where the next Doctor Strange adventure is headed and while it will be awhile, I’m excited about it!
