We were treated to some hilarious footage from stand-up comedian Jo Koy‘s upcoming comedy, Easter Sunday, during the big Universal Presentation at CinemaCon 2022, and this is a movie you won’t want to miss! Here’s our reaction video!
In the film, Koy plays a man returning home for an Easter celebration with his riotous, bickering, eating, drinking, laughing, loving family in this love letter to his Filipino-American community.
The movie was directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and it also stars Jimmy O. Yang, Tia Carrere, Brandon Wardell, Tony nominee Eva Noblezada, Lydia Gaston, Asif Ali, Rodney, Eugene Cordero, Jay Chandrasekhar, Tiffany Haddish and Lou Diamond Phillips.
The movie is set to be released on August 5th, 2022.
