Alex Winter and Patton Oswalt Are Set To Star in The Martial Arts Action Film ABSOLUTE DOMINION

Here’s an interesting and cool film project that I’ll be keeping my eye on. Alex Winter (Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure) and Patton Oswalt are set to star in a martial arts drama project titled Absolute Dominion, which is being produced for Netflix. It’s described as a “high-octane sci-fi action film.”

The story is set in 2085 A.D. “and the world has been destroyed by religious warfare. Desperate to save humanity, global governing forces host a gripping, no-holds-barred, martial arts tournament. Last fighter standing wins Absolute Dominion for one faith.”

This seems like an interesting and very different kind of project for Winter and Oswalt, but I like it and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Winter and Oswalt are joined by Oluniké Adeliyi (The Porter), Julie Ann Emery (Better Call Saul), Reagan Gomez (Jerry Maguire), Alok Vaid-Menon, Andy Allo, Désiré Mia, Jennifer Jajeh, Juliana Joel, June Carryl, Junes Zahdi, Laith Ashley, Mario D’Leon, Nora Armani, Oluniké Adeliyi, and Shawn Mousavi.

The movie is being written and directed by stunt-woman turned director Lexi Alexander (How to Get Away with Murder), and is co-produced by Blumhouse Television.

The movie has also brought in martial arts expert Phil Tan (Bloodsport 2, Lethal Weapon 4, Batman, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Martial Law, Showdown in Little Tokyo) as the stunt coordinator on the film to oversee fight choreography.

Production on Absolute Dominion is already underway.
