Fun Trailer for Matt Groening’s Medieval Animated Comedy Series DISENCHANTMENT Part 4

Can you believe that it’s been over a year since we’ve seen any new episodes from Matt Groening’s animated comedy series Disenchantment!? This has been such an enjoyable show to watch, and today we’ve got a first look at Disenchantment Part 4 thanks to a new trailer that Netflix released!

Luci the demon, Elfo the elf, and Bean had a rough go last season. But it looks like they are back together and in action and trying to save the kingdom. The synopsis for Part 4 reads:

[Our heroes] find themselves everywhere from the depths of Hell to the clouds of Heaven and everywhere in between, including Ogreland, Steamland, underwater, monasteries, insane asylums, the Enchanted Forest, the Dreamscape and more. All the while, puzzle pieces both canonical and personal will reveal themselves to eager fans.

Princess Bean’s misadventures this season include the discovery of an underwater castle containing secrets that could change the history of Dreamland.

I’ve really enjoyed the awesome fantasy world-building of this series and the complex serialized stories that it’s told. On top of all that, it’s filled with funny comedy! Groening previously his excitement regarding the show’s future and teased the ending of the series saying:

“We have an ending we’re really happy with. There [are] a million plot threads and character and story arcs. We know where we’re going and we want to get there…. There will be more.”

Disenchantment returns to Netflix on February 9.
