I’ve got a trailer here for a crazy upcoming horror film titled The Cursed, which was previously called Eight for Silver. The movie is set in France in the 1800s, and the story deals with a werewolf that is terrorizing a small rural village.
In the film, a man named John McBride, a pathologist, arrives in the remote country village “to investigate an attack by a wild animal but discovers a much deeper, sinister force that has the manor and its townspeople in its grip.” The movie is said to be a “reimagining of the werewolf legend for a modern-day audience.”
It looks like a decent-looking horror movie that horror fans will enjoy. I like what I’m seeing in the trailer, and I’ll definitely be checking it out.
The film was directed by Sean Ellis (Cashback, The Broken, Metro Manila) and it stars Boyd Holbrook, with Kelly Reilly, Alistair Petrie, Roxane Duran, Nigel Betts, Stuart Bowman, Simon Kunz, and Amelia Crouch.
The Cursed will be released in theaters on February 18th, 2022.
