Sony Pictures has made a sequel to the 2019 torture horror thriller Escape Room. It’s titled Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, and below you will find a previously released trailer for the film that we haven’t shared on the site before, along with two new clips.

In this next installment of the franchise, “six people unwittingly find themselves locked in another series of escape rooms, slowly uncovering what they have in common to survive…and discovering they’ve all played the game before.”

The film features the return of actors Taylor Russell and Logan Miller, and in the clips below they realize that Minos has devised a plan to gather all of its unknowing Escape Room winners on a subway train. As the game starts, the terrified and confused champions try prepare themselves for what’s coming next.

The sequel also stars Indya Moore (Pose), Holland Roden (Teen Wolf), Thomas Cocquerel (The 100), and Carlito Olivero (Bad Samaritan).

Adam Robitel returns to direct from a screenplay written by Will Honley, Oren Uziel, Maria Melnik, and Daniel Tuch. The film hits theater on July 16th, which is the same day that Space Jam: A New Legacy is released. I’m definitely more interested in the Escape Room sequel!
