I’ve got a wonderfully made animated short film here for you to enjoy called Mall 84. If you grew up in the 1980s, you’re gonna love this.
The short was created by Gervais Merryweather, who describes his short as a “love letter to the 1980s,” and as you’ll see he completely nailed it with the content and tone. From the arcade, to the fashion, and TV store window displays.
The thing that completely ties it all together, though, is the synthwave soundtrack created by Mitch Murder. You know, I watch a video like this and I can’t help but just miss the 80s. I have so many great memories of that time when I was a kid.
