I do not know how to skateboard, but I’ve always wanted to learn. Now, I might have to really push to learn because Pokémon has teamed up with Bear Walker to create a series of five limited-edition skateboards to life. Each one is 29 inches and features a different iconic monster. These boards are beautiful and even if you don’t skateboard, I think they’d make great wall decorations. I personally love the Gengar and Gyarados ones. Of course, there’s also a Pikachu, Charizard, and Mewtwo ones available.
In addition, fans can expect more of these boards to pop up over time as in a press release these are labeled as “Series 1.” If you want one of these boards, you’ll have to pay an undisclosed amount of money starting February 11. Bear Walker released the following statement about the partnership:
“Pokémon is highly recognizable with a massive fanbase in the skateboard community, including myself, so for this collection I wanted to make more than a traditional branded deck. I’m setting out to make functional works of art featuring Pokémon and iconography that fans love in the custom style my decks are known for.”
