Marvel Studios is currently in production on a few Disney+ shows at the moment including The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, with Loki and Ms. Marvel prepping to start shooting soon. Turns out there’s another project that’s almost ready to roll into production and that is She-Hulk.
According to Murphy’s Multiverse, Marvel Studios plans on starting to shoot She-Hulk in Atlanta this summer in July. The show is expected to be a location-heavy production, and the studio has been looking to cast an actress to portray Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk since late last year. A casting announcement is expected to come soon.
The question is, who do you think will end up in lead role? There are a lot of actresses out there who could be a great fit, it’ll be interesting to see who ends up actually landing the role. Are there any actresses that you’d like to see take it on?
We don’t know much about the series or the story it will tell, but She-Hulk is such a great and complicated character, who will eventually make her big-screen debut as well.
One of the things I appreciate about Jennifer Walters a.k.a. She-Hulk is that her comic series told some great stories that dealt with the psychological trauma that superheroes suffer. I hope that the series ends up exploring that aspect of her stories.
In the comics, Walters is shot by mobsters, and her cousin Bruce Banner saved her life by giving her a last-minute blood transfusion of his own irradiated blood. From that point on Jennifer Walters was able to transform into the Sensational She-Hulk.
