I’ve got a fantastic animated short film for you to watch today called Parfum Fraise, which translates to Strawberry Perfume. The short is a few years old, but I just came across recently and I had to share it!
The short was created by students at Gobelins School of Animation. It’s really well made, and it tells an intense story of a man named Makoto, who is doing his best to raise his 7 year old son Kazuki. But despite his best intentions, “the violence that was once his life comes back to bite him, and he will have no choice but to face it, before the eyes of his son, who he always tried to protect.”
The animation is beautifully made, and the story it tells is both moving and thrilling. Watch the short below and let us know what you think.
