Teaser Trailer For Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s Wild-Looking Horror Thriller CLOUD

Tokyo Theater Nikkatsu has released a teaser trailer for director Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s upcoming horror thriller Cloud. The title of the film, Cloud is in reference to the digital space known as the cloud.

The film is described as a suspense thriller depicting “collective madness” born from a chain of hatred. The story follows a “man wearing a bag mask suddenly appears in front of the main character, Yoshii.”

“Yoshii suddenly becomes a ‘target’ when he hears a voice saying “I’ll kill this guy” while looking at an online screen where hatred towards ‘Ratel’ is posted. Why are you being targeted? Who are you targeting?”

The director of the film has previously worked on Sweet Home, Cure, License to Live, Charisma, Pulse, Bright Future, Doppelganger, Retribution, Tokyo Sonata, Real, Seventh Code, Creepy, Before We Vanish, To the Ends of the Earth, and Wife of a Spy.

He’s also got two other films coming! One is titled Chime and a French film titled Le chemin du serpent (or Path of the Snake).

Cloud will debut in Japan starting on September 27th, 2024.
