Karen Gillan Has Read The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Script and Says It’s “Amazing”

We’ve got a long way to go before James Gunn starts production on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. He’s currently deep in production on DC’s The Suicide Squad, but he has completed the script for the Marvel film and Karen Gillan has read it.

During an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Gillan was asked about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and she used the opportunity to get fans excited about what Gunn is bringing to the sequel. She says:

“I can say that I’ve read it and it’s amazing. We’re all really excited that James is back to complete the trilogy because it wouldn’t have felt right without him. It’s a wonderful, wonderful script.”

While she doesn’t give us any information, it’s great to see her so excited about the film! I love the Guardians of the Galaxy films and can’t wait to see how Gunn is going to continue the story of these fantastic characters. This is also the film that will bring an end to the trilogy, so it will be interesting to see how Gunn brings the story to a close.

Gillan also talked about her journey within Marvel and how it has been exciting and unexpected:

“When I signed on to Nebula, it was eight days of filming and she was supposed to die in the first Guardians film. So to go on and be able to evolve the character and then have her be this pivotal role in Endgame was amazing. I didn’t see it coming at all.”

Well, the fans have certainly enjoyed watching Gillan play Nebula in these films over the years and it’s great to know that we’ve got at least one more film with her.
