The Truth Is Out There in Trailer for Netflix’s TOP SECRET UFO PROJECTS: DECLASSIFIED

UFOs are all the craze right now with the Pentagon confirming flying ships that they can’t explain. Now, Netflix is getting in on the action with a new documentary series titled Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified, which is a terrible title.

The show is described as a “factual television series featuring the most recent information and proof exposing the most top-secret government projects that handled contacts with and cover-ups of, extraterrestrial presence on Earth.”

Showtime also has their own docuseries that they’re developing with J.J. Abrams titled UFO, and it will examine “our fascination with unidentified flying objects, and what clandestine influence the American government, lucrative private companies, and the military may have in shielding the truth behind extraterrestrial phenomena to further their own agendas.”

Whether you believe in aliens or not, this is fascinating and fun stuff to explore. I mostly like how it inspires people’s imaginations.

Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified hits Netflix on August 3.

Ryan Reynolds & Will Ferrell-Led Musical Pic Spirited Begins Filming

Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to share the first behind-the-scenes photo from the set of his new film Spirited, confirming that production on Apple Studios’ forthcoming musical reimagining of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol has finally begun. The set photo, which you can check out below, provides us our first look at Reynolds and Will Ferrell’s characters, with Reynolds describing the Saturday Night Live alum as one of his comedy idols.

Joining the blockbuster stars are Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer, who will reportedly portray the role of a good-natured colleague to Reynolds’ Scrooge-like character, and Sunita Mani (GLOW) as Past.

A reimagining of the Charles Dickens classic, the Spirited movie will feature Ryan Reynolds for the leading role along with Will Ferrell as Ghost of Christmas Present. The project will be written and directed by Sean Anders and John Morris, who are reuniting with Ferrell after working together on Daddy’s Home. It will be produced by Anders, Morris, Ferrell, Reynolds, Jessica Elbaum, and George Dewey, with Gloria Sanchez Productions, Maximum Effort, and Two Grown Men producing.

A Christmas Carol is the famous tale of miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. There have been many feature adaptations of the story, including Bill Murray’s Scrooged, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Jim Carrey’s 2009 animated take from Robert Zemeckis, and the 1984 film starring Oscar winner George C. Scott.

Ferrell and Reynolds both previously appeared in the Richard Nixon/White House comedy Dick in 1999 but shared no scenes and haven’t properly collaborated ever. Reynolds will next be seen in a number of high-profile projects such as Free GuyRed Notice, The Adam Project, and the untitled third Deadpool film, which will introduce the anti-hero to the MCU. While Ferrell is also set to lead Apple TV+’s series adaptation of The Shrink Next Door along with Paul Rudd and Kathryn Hahn.

Lance Reddick Set to Reprise His Role in JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4

Lance Reddick, who plays Charon, the concierge of New York’s Continental Hotel in the John Wick franchise, closed a deal to reprise his role in John Wick: Chapter 4. This is a fun character in the franchise, and I’m happy to hear that his character will be explored further in the sequel.

Director Chad Stahelski shared the following statement in regards to his casting saying, “Lance has been part of the franchise since the very beginning and has had an integral role in shaping the world of John Wick. I couldn’t be more excited to be working with him again.”

Reddick joins the previously announced cast of Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, and Shamier Anderson. Reddick can currently be seen in the seventh and final season of the Amazon series Bosch and will also star in Netflix’s upcoming series Resident Evil.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is being written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. We don’t have any story details to share, but I’m curious to see just how in the hell John Wick survived at the end of the third film and how he’s going to survive in such beat-up shape.

Richard Dreyfuss is an Ex-Mob Boss Out For Revenge in Trailer For CRIME STORY

richard-dreyfuss-is-an-ex-mob-boss-out-for-revenge-in-trailer-for-crime-story.jpg

Hey, look! Richard Dreyfuss leads the cast of a new action-thriller titled Crime Story! It seems like it’s been a while since I’ve seen Dreyfuss in anything, but he’s back with a vengeance and kicking some ass!

In the film, Dreyfuss plays an ex-mob boss named Ben Myers, who is targeted in a home robbery. So what does he do? “He goes on a deadly rampage of vengeance. But with his family caught in the crosshairs, Myers must finally face the consequences of his dark past in this action-packed crime thriller.”

Dreyfuss actually looks pretty good in the role for his age! It also looks like he actually gives a good performance! The movie might just tell the typical revenge thriller story that we’ve seen a hundred times before, but this one stars Richard Dreyfuss, so I’ll give it a go. Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite, Mimic) also stars in the film as Dreyfuss’s daughter.

Crime Story arrives in theater, on digital and On Demand August 13, 2021. Hopefully, this film leads to seeing Dreyfuss being offered more roles.

Kaley Cuoco has jumped on board a new film project for Studiocanal and The Picture Company that she will star in and produce titled Role Play. The project is described as a “stylish action thriller” and the story follows “a young married couple whose life turns upside down after secrets are revealed about each other’s past.”

Cuoco’s acting career has been blowing up since The Big Bang Theory came to an end. The HBO Max series The Flight Attendant gave her career a big boost and she is also set to star opposite Pete Davidson in the romantic comedy Meet Cute. She will next be seen in Sony’s comedy feature The Man From Toronto opposite Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson. She’s also working on the second season of The Flight Attendant as well as a series based on the biography, Doris Day: Her Own Story.

As for Role Play, the script was written by Seth Owen and the project is being set up as a potential franchise. Owen previously worked on the 2015 Ridley Scott produced sci-fi thriller Morgan starring Kate Mara and Anya Taylor-Joy. The studio is currently on the hunt for a director to helm the film.

Role Play will start production after Cuoco wraps Season 2 of The Flight Attendant.
