Stadia has revealed that Paradox Interactive’s Cities: Skylines city-building game has launched in Stadia Pro. Everyone can enjoy a 60 minute free trial of the game even if you don’t have a Stadia account. If you have an inner city planner then this game is definitely for you as you build and manage your own city.

In addition to that, Far Cry Primal is now available in the Stadia store for $29.99 or you can claim it with a Ubisoft+ subscription. Other updates include new content for Nine to Five including a new map, modes, weapons, and events.

If you’re a fan of kaijus and beat-’em-up games, you won’t want to miss Dawn of the Monsters when it comes to Stadia and will be free to play from May 26-May 31. 

Hasbro recently revealed some awesome collectibles for fans of the Blue Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. They’re releasing the Blue Ranger helmet on August 1 for $89.99.

The helmet features adjustable straps to fit most heads and let you pretend you’re Billy Cranston or possibly his successor in an alternate timeline. Also revealed was the Power Lance which will be available on September 1 for $131.99.

This collectible comes with a display stand and is capable of separating or even extending to provide a more authentic experience. It also has lights and sounds to get you more excited. Both of these collectibles are available for pre-order now. Will you be adding them to your collection?

Jango Fett may have been a simple man, but he left a long lasting and bloody mark on the Star Wars universe. Sideshow has released an unboxing video of their latest figure of Jango ahead of the worldwide release of the ⅙ scale figure. This thing is highly detailed using Jango’s appearance in Episode 2 all the way down to screen-accurate facial scars. It includes Mandalorian helmet and armor that have been weathered, a finely tailored undersuit, a poncho, his jetpack, and a wide assortment of accessories. For those of us who can’t wait for fall time and Halloween to be here this year, Funko Games have announced some new games to help keep the spooky mood year round. Crunchyroll has announced they have acquired the streaming rights to the hotly anticipated Chainsaw Man. Rolling out on simulcast from Japan later this year subbed and dubbed to 200 countries and territories, dub languages will include English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German. Here’s the official synopsis of the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto that the show is based on:

Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. 

One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man”–a man with a devil’s heart. 

They have also released a teaser trailer, and as you might expect from the name and premise, it gets bloody. I’m not a personal fan of the over the top violent and bloody anime, but if that doesn’t bother you then you should definitely check this one out. The world sounds really intriguing, not only do devils exist, but they are made manifest by the collective fears of humans. That’s a world that has a lot of potential for some really cool stories. No release date yet, but it has been announced to be coming out later this year. Go ahead and check out the trailer below.

505 Games recently had a product showcase and have now announced 3 new games coming out in 2022/2023. Among the Trolls, Stray Blade, and Miasma Chronicles offer a wide variety of game styles that are sure to appeal to many different gamers. Here is the breakdown for each game.

One of the Marvel shows coming to Disney+ that I’m very curious about is its Secret Invasion series. Last year a first look photo was released featuring Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, and he was sporting a different look in that image.

Well, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed during a recent Disney presentation that while the character will still have a beard, he will not have his eye patch and leather trench coat. Those two things make up Fury’s signature look, but they are looking to do something a little different, which I’m totally on board with. So, the look in the photo above of Fury is the look we’re getting! I imagine this will be his new look moving forward.

Secret Invasion “centers on Fury and Talos — who first met during the events of ‘Captain Marvel’ — and a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.”

Ben Mendelsohn will reprise his role of the Skrull character Talos in the series as well. On top of that, Dermot Mulroney and Don Cheadle will also appear in the series as President Ritson and James Rhodey Rhodes, a.k.a. War Machine, respectively.

The series also stars Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Christopher McDonald, and Killian Scott.

A new book, Star Wars: Shadow of the Sith, by Adam Christopher will be releasing June 28. The book will take place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens and will follow Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian as they investigate the mystery of the lingering Sith presence and desperately search for Lando’s missing daughter. We’ll also learn more about Rey’s parents in this book. Here is the full synopsis:

The Empire is dead. Nearly two decades after the Battle of Endor, the tattered remnants of Palpatine’s forces have fled to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. But for the heroes of the New Republic, danger and loss are ever-present companions, even in this newly forged era of peace.

Jedi Master Luke Skywalker is haunted by visions of the dark side, foretelling an ominous secret growing somewhere in the depths of space, on a dead world called Exegol. The disturbance in the Force is undeniable . . . and Luke’s worst fears are confirmed when his old friend Lando Calrissian comes to him with reports of a new Sith menace.

After Lando’s daughter was stolen from his arms, he searched the stars for any trace of his lost child. But every new rumor leads only to dead ends and fading hopes—until he crosses paths with Ochi of Bestoon, a Sith assassin tasked with kidnapping a young girl.

Ochi’s true motives remain shrouded to Luke and Lando. For on a junkyard moon, a mysterious envoy of the Sith Eternal has bequeathed a sacred blade to the assassin, promising that it will answer the questions that have haunted him since the Empire fell. In exchange, he must complete a final mission: Return to Exegol with the key to the Sith’s glorious rebirth—Rey, the granddaughter of Darth Sidious himself.

As Ochi hunts Rey and her parents to the edge of the galaxy, Luke and Lando race into the mystery of the Sith’s lingering shadow and aid a young family running for their lives.

It sounds like it could be interesting. Personally, I hated absolutely everything about Rey being related to Darth Sidious, so I think this will only add fuel to that fire. It was so much better when Rey wasn’t related to anybody of importance and fit the entire theme of the sequel trilogy so much better. But that is a whole discussion for another time. It would be fun to see Luke and Lando on an adventure together since we don’t get to see them together much in the movies. If you’re curious about events that happen in this timeframe, then this book would be worth checking out.

LEGOCON is coming back and is ready to celebrate LEGO’s 90th anniversary. On June 18 audiences will get a sneak peek behind the scenes and discover the amazing things LEGO has on the horizon. There will be product reveals, live demos with designers, and building challenges for all to join in on.

There will be extra special anniversary surprises that you will need to tune in to see. I love Power Rangers and I love ice cream. My daughter feels the same way. So, who wouldn’t want to combine these two things into a collectible? That must have been the question asked at Unruly Industries recently when they designed their new One-Scoops collectibles that some are dubbing the mighty meltin’ Power Rangers. Perfect for any juice bar, these collectibles feature a glove reminiscent of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers holding an ice cream cone with a scoop of ice cream that looks like your favorite Rangers’ helmet. As a nice touch, the helmet is made to look like melting ice cream. These were designed by Erik Scoggan and I love these and am flabbergasted by them. On the one hand, they just feel weird, but on the other hand they’re so well executed and detailed that I want them. The details are immaculate and the Green Ranger one even has what appears to be his shield on the cone which is a great touch. Oh, you can also pull the cones out of the hands. Each one measures 6.5-6.8” tall and you can buy them in sets of three with either Black, Green, and Pink or Blue, Red, and Yellow. Pre-orders are live now on Sideshow for $250 a set with an expected ship date of between October 2022 and January 2023. Which one is your favorite?
