Binging With Babish Shows How To Make The Crab Bisque From SEINFELD

For those of you who have ever wanted to try the Soup Nazi’s soup from Seinfeld, Binging with Babish has released a video where he shows us how to make the Crab Bisque. The soup was described as so good it will make your knees buckle under the weight of its greatness.

I’ve been making a lot of my own soups in recent years, but I’ve never attempted the crab bisque. Maybe it’s time I try to pull it off. After watching this, I think I could actually do it!

Behind-The-Scenes Look at The Giant Khonshu Vs. Ammit Battle in Marvel’s MOON KNIGHT

The big battle sequence at the end of Marvel’s Moon Knight featured a giant God vs. God battle between Khonshu and Ammit. I never really understood the point of having these two Gods be giants when they fought, but it is what it is.

Anyway, I’ve got a video here from Marvel in which Lorraine Cink talks with VFX Supervisor of Marvel Studios Sean Faden, about the behind-the-scenes VFX work that went into bringing this sequence to life along with several of the other action sequences in the series.

If you’re interested in getting some insight on how some of the big VFX work in the series was created, you’ll want to check this out!

Adam Savage Geeks Out Over an Original X-Wing Model Created For STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE

I’ve got an awesome new video from Tested for you to watch today and it’s one that Star Wars fans are going to love! Adam Savage visits the Prop Store where he completely geeks out over a rare original X-Wing model starfighter from George Lucas’ original Star Wars film, A New Hope.

They describe this model as the “holy grail” of Star Wars models and the video offers an up-close look at it! This is one of the few surviving X-Wing miniatures from the making of Star Wars: Episode IV. “Inspecting the paint finish and preserved surface of this gorgeous filming miniature is like a looking into the early days of the ILM model shop, with every detail revealing first hand the care and attention that went into the first Star Wars movie.”

This is so freakin’ cool! Now, watch the video and geek out with Adam as he looks it over and learns some fun details about it as well! This may be the only X-Wing model that still exists from the first movie.

Workshop Manuals For The STAR WARS Ships – Millennium Falcon, Rebel Starfighters, and TIE Fighter

Haynes Owners’ Workshop has released new workshop manuals for the Star Wars vehicles including the Millennium Falcon, Rebel Starfighters, and TIE Fighters. This comes from Ryder Windham, Chris Reiff, and Chris Trevas, the creative team behind the previously released Death Star Owner’s Technical Manual.

These books offer a detailed breakdown of each of the ships with all of the technical specs laid out in detailed information. I’ve included descriptions of each of the books below.

The YT-1300 Corellian Freighter gets the Haynes treatment! This is a Haynes Manual based on the YT-1300 Corellian Freighter, the best-known variant of which is the Millennium Falcon… Using brand-new cutaway illustrations, together with other art and photographs, this manual provides the most thorough technical description of the YT-1300 available…

The Rebel Starfighters Owners’ Workshop Manual presents a thorough history of the starfighters that served the Rebel Alliance and the Resistance. The history includes design origins, production, and modifications for each Rebel starfighter, and is fully illustrated with numerous photographs, schematics, exploded diagrams, and computer-generated artwork

The TIE Fighter Owners’ Workshop Manual presents a thorough history of Sienar Fleet Systems’ twin ion engine space superiority fighter, from early concepts and prototypes to the mass-produced starfighters that fought countless battles against insurgent groups. The history of TIE fighters—including bombers, boarding craft, and shuttles—is fully illustrated with numerous photographs, schematics, exploded diagrams, and computer-generated artwork

Lots of Rad Video Game Treasures To See From The Embracer Games Archive

I’ve got a video here for you to watch from Embracer Games Archive that features CEO David Boström going through boxes filled with old-school video games and consoles, some of which have never even been opened!

Here’s the note that came along with the video:

Embracer Games Archive has left the vault and moved to its new location above ground. All the better for us, as we join CEO David Boström in a new unboxing extravaganza and get a tour at the new premises. David finds rare Nintendo special editions, a Mega CD collection with never opened games and a handheld games collection with some very special Pokemon games and much more.

The Games Archive is looking to “Archive and save as much of the video games industry as possible.” They already have 50,000 items and they will build a database to catalog the items. Unfortunately, there are no plans to make the entire collection open to the public. At some point, though, it will have some of the collection on display at the archive as well as temporary “satellite exhibitions”.

If you’re a video game geek, you’ll enjoy geeking out over this!

Master Splinter is Van Helsing in NECA’s New Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Action Figure

NECA has revealed the newest action figure in its Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimate line. This one imagines Master Splinter as Van Helsing.

This figure joined the previously released Raphael as Frankenstein, Leonardo as The Hunchback, Michelangelo as The Mummy, and April O’Neil as the Bride of Frankenstein.

Van Helsing is the legendary monster hunter who hunts down monsters. It makes sense that Splinter would be the one to step into the shoes of Van Helsing.

The Evolution of Superman Explored in DC Animated History

Here’s a cool video that was released by DC that dives into the animated history of Superman and explores the hero’s evolution over the years in his animated form. These animated super projects initially started way back in 1941, and we are still seeing the character being played with today in animated projects.

It’s pretty awesome to look back and see all of the different animated iterations of the character over all these years. Check it out! If you’re a fan of Superman, there’s no doubt you’ll enjoy this video.
