Netflix has shared a new trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, and as you’ll see, it features the return of another character from the original series. That character is junkyard owner Old Joe, who is played by Larry Hankin. Old Joe helped Walter White and Jesse Pinkman out of several scenarios.

The teaser shows Joe taking a call from fugitive Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), who is on the run after escaping the white supremacist compound where Walter White (Bryan Cranston) committed mass murder. This next chapter of the story will continue to follow Pinkman after the events of the Breaking Bad series finale. Obviously, he’s going to need a little help from Joe again in some way.

The logline for the film reads, “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”

Vince Gilligan’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will be released on Netflix on October 11th, 2019.
