Netflix’s fantastically entertaining adult animated comedy series BoJack Horseman will be coming to an end after its sixth season. This has been such an enjoyable series to watch, but as the old saying goes… all good things must come to an end, but at least this series had a good run.
Variety also reports that the final sixth season will air in two parts. The first part is launching October 25th, 2019, and the second part will premiere on January 31th, 2020.
BoJack Horseman was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg and stars Will Arnett as a former ’90s sitcom star who also happens to be a horse. The rest of the voice cast includes Amy Sedaris, Alison Brie, Paul F. Tomkins, and Aaron Paul, who responded to the cancellation, explaining that it was Netflix who felt it was time for the series to end:
We had a wonderful time making Bojack. Couldn’t be more proud. Fell in love with these characters just like everyone else did but sadly Netflix thought it was time to close the curtains and so here we are. They gave us a home for 6 beautiful years. Nothing we could do about it.

Netflix also released a trailer for the final season, which sees BoJack writing a letter to his friend Diane (Brie) from rehab, in which he re-evaluates how he wants to live his life from now on. It also came with the caption, “It’s safe to say Horsin’ Around won’t be BoJack Horseman’s only lasting legacy.”
