This December, the Power Rangers will meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in comic form. I’m really excited for this mini-series from Ryan Parrott and Simone di Meo as I’m sure it’s the crossover fans deserve instead of what they got back during Power Rangers In Space. Here’s what the story’s about:
“The Power Rangers arrive in New York City to find Tommy Oliver—AKA The Mighty Morphin Green Ranger—but soon discover he’s joined forces with the villainous Shredder and the Foot Clan!
As the Rangers are sent reeling by this betrayal, they’re confronted by another (fr)enemy—the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Can these heroes find a way to work together to defeat the bad guys and save the world from total destruction?!”
That sounds pretty awesome. To go with the awesome story, BOOM! Studios has revealed the variant covers for the issue from Goñi Montes and they look amazing! You can see each turtle holding the helmet of the Red Ranger and each has a different grip which I actually find very fascinating. I’ve included the main cover by Dan Mora as well for comparison.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 will be available on December 4. I cannot wait.
