Rebecca Ferguson Joins Cillian Murphy In PEAKY BLINDERS Movie

Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, Doctor Sleep, Mission: Impossible) has joined Cillian Murphy in the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie that is currently in development at Netflix.

Ferguson is the first big casting announcement, and while it hasn’t been revealed who she‘ll be playing, we know she’s going to be awesome in the movie! She’s such a talented actress.

Tom Harper is directing the movie from a script written by series creator Steven Knight. Plot details have not been shared, but Knight has said that the movie story would be set during World War II.

Knight talked about the film in the past, saying: “The film, I know exactly what it’s about. And I know what two stories it’s going to tell. What will happen after that, I want that to depend on the film. For all we know somebody is going to pop out – I think I know who it’s going to be.”

Ferguson was also recently cast in Kathryn Bigelow’s upcoming untitled feature for Netflix. Ferguson currently stars in and executive produces Apple TV+ drama Silo.
