David Harbour Confirms That He’s Wrapped on THUNDERBOLTS* and Shares Red Guardian Cold War Poster

Actor David Harbour has shared a photo of a Red Guardian poster along with the news that he has wrapped production on the upcoming Marvel film Thunderbolts*.

The film follows Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Contessa Valentina Allegra De Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and Sentry (Lewis Pullman)

Then there’s Red Guardian (David Harbour), The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), and Harrison Ford is in the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, President of the United States in Captain America: New World Order. Ayo Edebiri is also a member of the cast in an undisclosed role.

It was previously reported that Thunderbolts* is “just a Black Widow sequel the same way Civil War was a Captain America sequel… Yelena’s handling Red Room remnants and then gets sidetracked with Thunderbolts*.”

The film is being directed by Jake Schreier (Paper Towns, Kidding) and was written by Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok, Black Widow) and Kurt Busiek.

Thunderbolts* is currently set to be released in theaters on July 25, 2025. But knowing production has wrapped, and with the news that Marvel is heading back to San Diego Comic-Con,

it sounds like we will hear more about the film than soon, and possibly even see some footage! Check out Harbour’s post below:
