John Malkovich Joins Marvel’s THE FANTASTIC 4

John Malkovich is going to be making his MCU debut in Marvel’s upcoming film The Fantastic 4. There’s no word on who he is playing, but hopefully, the studio gave him a fun and interesting role to take on.

Malkovich will join the previously cast Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us) as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning) as Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman; Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch; and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher, The Bear) as Ben Grimm, aka the Thing.

Paul Walter Houser also recently was cast in the project in an unknown role, and Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) will take on the role of Shalla-Bal, who is an incarnation of Silver Surfer.

The movie is set in the 1960s, and it will be directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision) from a screenplay by Josh Friedman, who was brought in to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
