Keanu Reeves to Star in Airplane Disaster Movie THE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM IS DOWN

Keanu Reeves is in talks to star in an airplane disaster movie titled The Entertainment System Is Down, which will be directed by two-time Palme d’Or winner Ruben Östlund (Triangle of Sadness).

The movie has been described as a “social satire set on a long-haul flight on which the entertainment system isn’t working, sparking chaos and rages among passengers.”

Yeah, that’s something I could actually see happening in today’s society. Reeves will be part of an ensemble cast that will comprise of several international stars.

When previously talking about the project, the director said the film will be “a study of how human beings interact in this little laboratory that is a plane” and “will look at how modern human beings are wrecked under these circumstances.”

He went on to say that he hopes the movie will cause the biggest walkout in the history of Cannes Film Festival. So, he’s going to go for something completely unhinged, bonkers, and filled with wicked humor. Should be fun!

The Entertainment System Is Down is said to be Östlund’s most ambitious film to date.
