Donald Glover is the latest actor in Hollywood to jump into the anime game. He wants in on the action and is partnering up with comedian Zack Fox on a project.
Glover revealed the news himself while a guest on the GILGA Radio Show. During the interview, Glover confirmed the title of Childish Gambino’s final album, and when asked about the future, Glover revealed he is working on this anime.
He didn’t offer any other details on the project, as a fan of Glover and Fox’s comedy style, an Glover’s sense of storytelling, I’m curious to see what comes of this.
Hollywood really needs to start embracing anime, but as of right now, the majority just don’t get it, and for some reason, they don’t think there’s an audience for it.
While Glover is working on this anime, he’s keeping himself busy with other projects including Star Wars: Lando movie, a parody biopic of 21 Savage, and his recently released project was the series reboot of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
