Mondo has released a cool poster for Universal Pictures’ classic 1954 film Creature From The Black Lagoon. The poster art was created by Matthew Allison, and I dig the design for it. Creature from the Black Lagoon is a classic 1954 science fiction horror film produced by Universal Pictures. Directed by Jack Arnold, the movie revolves around a scientific expedition exploring the Amazon River, where they encounter a prehistoric amphibious humanoid known as the Gill-man. The creature becomes infatuated with the team’s female lead, Kay Lawrence, leading to a series of suspenseful and thrilling confrontations between the expedition members and the Gill-man.
I’m a huge fan of this movie and it remains a timeless classic in the realm of creature features, contributing to the legacy of Universal Pictures’ monster movie franchise.
