New STAR WARS: AHSOKA Character Poster Highlight Heroes and Villains

Disney+ has released three new character posters for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Ahsoka, and they highlight three of the main villains of the story.

The heroes include Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren. As you can see, Sabine is wielding a green lightsaber that is presuably Ezra Bridger’s from Star Wars Rebels.

The villains include Ray Stevenson’s Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno’s Shin Hati, and Diana Lee Inosanto’s Morgan Elsbeth, the last of which made her debut in The Mandalorian Season 2 and fought against Ahsoka.

Dave Filoni is the mastermind behind this show, it’s one of those stories that he’s been extremely excited about telling and it will lead to the big features film project that he’s working on.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. The show will pick up where Star Wars Rebels left off and the search for Ezra Bridger begins.

Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) is that big threat and the last we saw of Ezra he was with him and they blasted off to an unknown location. Sabine joins Ahsoka on her journey, and she is still very much dedicated to finding Ezra. They will be joined by Hera Syndulla, and the droid, Chopper, and Zeb will also most likely return. The series also stars Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Ivanna Sakhno, and Eman Esfandi as Ezra.

Ahsoka will debut on Disney+ on August 23, 2023.
