I’ve got a new featurette for The Flash for you to watch today and it puts the focus on Sasha Calle‘s Supergirl. The actress talks about her experience playing this character, and I have to say… she is one of the highlights of the film. I thought she was badass in the role and I hope that fans enjoy her character as much as I did.
I’m sure that fans are curious to see what director Andy Muschietti’s vision of this character would be and you’ll find out soon. In the meantime, enjoy this featurette, which also offers up some footage of Supergirl in action!

In the film, “Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?”
The movie also stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allan, aka The Flash, Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, aka Supergirl, Ben Affleck as Batman, and Michael Shannon as Zod, with Ron Livingston and Maribel Verdú, who are playing Barry’s parents. Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Derry Girls) and internet personality Rudy Mancuso will also appear.
The Flash will be released on June 16th, 2023.
