Hulu has released a trailer for the upcoming comedy series titled UnPrisoned, which stars Kerry Washington (Scandal) and Delroy Lindo (The Harder The Fall). The series is inspired by Tracy McMillan’s life, and it’s about “a messy but perfectionist relationship therapist and single mom whose life is turned right-side-up when her dad gets out of prison and moves in with her and her teenage son.”
Washington and Lindo are both great actors and I’ve enjoyed watching their projects over the years. It looks like they are going to make a great on-screen team in this series, and I’ll be watching.
UnPrisoned also stars Faly Rakotohavana, Jee Young Han, Jordyn McIntosh, Marque Richardson, Edwin Lee Gibson, and more.
UnPrisoned is executive produced by Washington, Lindo, McMillan, and Yvette Lee Bowser, who’s also set as the showrunner. The series will be available for streaming on March 10th.
