We finally have a release date for RWBY season nine! Rooster Teeth recently dropped a full trailer for the new season of the hit anime-inspired series RWBY and with it came a release date. Fans will be able to watch RWBY Volume 9 starting February 1 on Crunchyroll at 9:30 AM CT. The season will be exclusive to Crunchyroll for one year after which FIRST members will gain access, but with all the other great titles on the service, it’s a pretty solid deal. Can we move gen:LOCK over there too?
After the harrowing events of Volume 8, our heroines are thrust into an unknown world–the Ever After! However, once Team RWBY explores this strange and mysterious realm, they quickly discover it might not be quite as unknown as they first assumed. As they journey to find a way back home, they’ll have to overcome some of their toughest challenges yet–the struggle of their own identities, and whether or not they’re equipped to stop Salem.
