Konami recently launched the new 60-card side set Amazing Defenders for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. The set brings three new archetypes to the game, Mikanko, Purrely, and Rescue-ACE that all seem pretty interesting. Mikanko focuses on the Ritual Monster Ohime the Manifested Mikanko, Purrely seems more focused on XYZ monsters like Expurrely Happiness, and Rescue-ACE has Rescue-ACE Turbulence and Rescue-ACE Hydrant at the core to work with Quick-Play Spells and Traps. Overall, I don’t think any of them are going to be top-tier or Meta although Mikanko does have some potential to work with Infernoble Knights who saw many reprints in the set as well.
