McFarlane Toys is jumping into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure business! They’ve announced that they will be producing toys based on the upcoming 2023 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem from Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, and Seth Rogen.
These figures will be geared towards kids not just pure 7-inch scale collector figures. No official announcement has been made, but retailers and distributors have put up listings for the tory line:

Rogen previously talked about the film and what he and the creative team are looking to do with it. He also shared how it will be different from the other iterations we’ve seen. He explains that this new film will lean more toward a teenage coming-of-age story:
“As a lifelong fan of Ninja Turtles, weirdly the ‘Teenage’ part of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was always the part that stuck out to me the most. And as someone who loves teenage movies, and who’s made a lot of teenage movies, and who literally got their start in their entire profession by writing a teenage movie, the idea of kind of honing in on that element was really exciting to us. I mean, not disregarding the rest, but really using that as kind of a jumping off point for the film.”
Jeff Rowe (Gravity Falls, Connected) is set to direct the project while Brendan O’Brien (Neighbors: Sorority Rising) is writing the script.
Paramount also previously confirmed that after Mutant Mayhem is released, there will be a series of villain-centric movies that will be released exclusively on Paramount+. I assume that these will all tie into the movie.
The movie is set to be released on August 11th, 2023.
