I’ve got a trailer for you to check out for the upcoming Netfllix movie Tall Girl. The film follows a high school girl named Jodi (Ava Michelle) who is six foot one and clearly stands out in the crowd. She is trying to get through life, all while being made fun of, always being noticed but never for the right reasons, and comparing herself to the more petite girls, like her beautiful sister.
There is one boy who has loved her since grade school (Griffin Gluck), but she just can’t get beyond the height difference. She thinks all is lost until the new, tall, exchange student shows up, and helps her to start thinking differently about herself.
Jodi, the tallest girl in her high school, has always felt uncomfortable in her own skin. But after years of slouching, being made fun of, and avoiding attention at all costs, Jodi finally decides to find the confidence to stand tall.
Her parents are played by Steve Zahn (That Thing You Do, Riding in Cars With Boys) and Angela Kinsey (The Office). Check out the trailer below, and watch Tall Girl on Netflix on September 13th.
