Gotham Knights was a bit of a mess at launch. The team continues to push updates that help better optimize the game, and with the latest update, two new game modes were added for free. If you own Gotham Knights, you can now access Heroic Assualt and Showdown.
In Heroic Assault, you’ll team up with three other players online to challenge 30 action-packed floors with Starro, the Conquerer controlling Man-Bat being at the top. You can access this game mode from the main menu after reaching Case File 05 in the main campaign.
Meanwhile, Showdown is a cooperative game mode for two players to enjoy online. You and a friend will be able to team up to bring down “supercharged” versions of the main villains like Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, and Clayface. You’ll get new legendary gear blueprints, unique suits, and unique Batcycle colorways for each enemy you defeat. You can access Showdown as soon as you’ve defeated the boss for the villain’s Case File.
