Well Go USA has released a new trailer for the recently released Irish revenge thriller Bad Day for the Cut. The sees a farmer who embarks on a journey of vengeance after his mother is murdered. This looks like it’s going to be a brutal and intense film, and as someone who enjoys revenge thrillers, I’m all in! It’s described as an Irish version of Blue Ruin.
Chris Baugh directed the film, and he made his feature film debut with it. The synopsis reads:
In this witty and ultra-violent thriller, a mild-mannered farmer sets off on a bloody quest for vengeance after his elderly mother is murdered. As he tracks her killers through the criminal underworld of Belfast, he begins to realize that there was a darker side to his beloved mother – and to himself.
