A long time ago before Robert Downey Jr. was cast as Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, Tom Cruise was supposedly cast in the role. I’ve wondered what it would have been like had Cruise played Stark in the MCU and now thanks to that deep fake technology we can see what might have been like and it’s pretty fascinating.
The video comes from Collider and while it’s interesting and cool to see what the MCU would have looked like had Cruise played Iron Man, I’m happy that it ultimately went and cast Downey Jr.
