Aaron Taylor-Johnson is set to star alongside Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in Universal Pictures’ upcoming film project The Fall Guy.
There are no plot details to share, but the original series, which ran from 1981-1986, was created by Glen A. Larson and starred Lee Majors as a Hollywood stuntman. In the story, he picks up some extra money on the side as a bounty hunter using his rough-and-tumble skills to track and capture bail jumpers, and he’s helped by his cousin, Howie, and Jody, a beautiful stunt colleague.
Deadpool 2 director David Leitch is helming the project and he most recently worked with Taylor-Johnson on the high-octane action-comedy Bullet Train.
Production for the film is set to begin in Australia this fall and it will be released on March 1, 2024.
