Action icon Jean-Claude Van Damme has jumped on board a new action-adventure film project titled Silent Kill. He will star in the film that will be written and directed by Anthony Hickox (Hellraiser III) and he’ll be joined by NFL star-turned-actor Vernon Davis (Gasoline Alley), Rafael Amaya (The Lord of Skies) and Madalina Anea (Watcher).
The film will follow “four mercenaries who find a hidden treasure in the Congo. They bury it and agree to meet back at the same spot in three years and split the fortune evenly, but things take a different turn.”
I love that Van Damme is still making movies and kicking ass! He’s been involved with some really good projects in recent years and he will also serve as a producer on this new project. The film is also being produced by Joram Moreka and Executive producers Andrea Iervolino, Monika Bacardi, Ovidiu Toma and Bradly Gentz.
Iervolino said in a statement: “One of the all-time great action stars, Jean-Claude Van Damme has cultivated a worldwide fanbase that will absolutely love this adrenaline-fueled movie that starts fast and never takes its foot off the gas pedal. It’s Van Damme doing what everyone loves watching him do.”
The film will start shooting in early 2023. Van Damme recently started shooting a film noir project that has yet to be officially announced.
