Sydney Sweeney Set to Star in The Psychological Horror Thriller IMMACULATE

Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) has joined her third film project this month. She was previously cast in the Barbarella remake and a thriller titled The Caretaker. She’s now set to star in a psychological horror film titled Immaculate.

The movie will be helmed by Michael Mohan, who previously worked with Sweeney on The Voyeurs. He will direct for Black Bear Pictures. Sweeney actually developed the project with producer David Bernad (The Mule, The White Lotus), following their successful collaboration on HBO’s The White Lotus.

The movie follows Cecilia (Sweeney), “a woman of devout faith who is offered a fulfilling new role at an illustrious Italian convent. Her warm welcome to the picture-perfect Italian countryside is soon interrupted as it becomes clearer to Cecilia that her new home harbors some dark and horrifying secrets.”

The film was written by Andrew Lobel and production on the project is set to kick off in January 2023. Sweeney is one of the most in-demand actresses right now, and it seems like she’s going to have a bright future in Hollywood.
