Marvel Studios is developing a new WandaVision spinoff series that will focus on the character Vision. It’s titled Vision Quest and Paul Bettany is set to reprise his role.
According to the report, the potential series will be about “The Vision (Bettany) trying to regain his memory and humanity.” It’s also said that while the series will focus on Vision, “there is a possibility for Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) to appear.”
It would completely make sense for Wanda to appear in the series as the two characters had such a strong relationship, and that story arc needs to continue! The new spinoff is being referred to by some as “the White Vision project.”
White Vision was introduced in WandaVision and was created by S.W.O.R.D. by rebuilding and reactivating Vision’s body. He was sent on a mission to destroy Wanda and Hex Vision. The two Visions had an epic battle at the end of the series. At the end of that fight the two ended up having a philosophical discussion, Hex Vision restored his counterpart’s memories and then White Vision flew away leaving his future wide open. Hex Vision ended up ceasing to exist when Wanda finally let him go.
Vision Quest is being developed by WandaVision creator, writer, and executive producer Jac Schaeffer, and they will be opening the writers’ room next week.
