CHAINSAW MAN English Dub Cast and Opening Song Revealed

Crunchyroll recently announced the English cast for the upcoming Chainsaw Man anime. This series is definitely going to be bloody. I’ve heard good things about it, but it’s too much blood for me personally.

The cast for the English dub includes Ryan Colt Levy (My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission) as Denji, Suzie Yeung (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Makima, Reagan Murdock (Dragon Ball Super) as Aki, and Sarah Wiedenheft (Black Clover) as Power with Mike McFarland (Attack on Titan) as ADR director. You can check out the dubbed trailer now!

The Chainsaw Man English dub will premiere on October 7 at New York Comic Con and then the SimulDub will begin airing on Crunchyroll at a later date. The original manga is written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto.

Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.

One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man”–a man with a devil’s heart.

In addition, it was announced by Milan Records that the opening theme will be “Kick Back” by Kenshi Yonezu in collaboration with Daiki Tsuneta of King Gnu, and “includes samples from J-pop girl group Morning Musume’s single “Souda! We’re Alive.”” You can check out the latest subbed trailer and the song now. It sounds pretty cool. The Chainsaw Man anime is directed by Ryū Nakayama. Are you excited for this series?
