Jenna Ortega is set to star alongside Martin Freeman in the upcoming Lionsgate and Point Grey-produced film Miller’s Girl. The movie is based on the 2016 Black List screenplay by Jade Halley Bartlett, and she will make her directorial debut with the film
In Miller’s Girl, “a creative writing assignment yields complex results between a teacher and his talented student.” There’s no word on what those complex things are, but as a fan of both these actors, I’m looking forward to finding out.
Ortega is killing it as a young actress and she has delivered some pretty great performances in films such as Scream, X, and the upcoming Netflix series Wednesday. Then, of course, Freeman is just always consistently good in the projects he’s a part of.
